About the role
The Partner role focuses on indirect tax services, primarily GST and Customs, supporting clients through end‑to‑end execution of assignments and ensuring compliance with evolving regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Handle client engagements related to GST and Customs, ensuring end‑to‑end execution of assignments.
- Prepare, file and reconcile GST returns, generate reports and maintain compliance calendars.
- Conduct detailed research on GST law, Customs regulations and related indirect‑tax matters, providing accurate technical inputs.
- Coordinate with client finance teams to secure timely tax payments, approvals and filings, and support tax audits and assessments.
- Collaborate with internal service lines and contribute to knowledge management by updating tax databases and sharing best practices.
Required profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional with solid experience in indirect tax, GST and Customs compliance.
- Strong analytical ability to review client data, identify discrepancies and resolve compliance issues.
- Proactive communicator capable of working with client finance/tax teams and internal stakeholders.
