Paid Assistant – Accounting & Tax

About the role
We are looking for a motivated Paid Assistant to support our finance team in managing accounts, tax compliance, and audit activities. The role offers exposure to a variety of accounting functions and the opportunity to work closely with senior professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and finalize financial statements and accounts.
- Handle GST returns, TDS, and Income Tax filings.
- Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Perform bookkeeping and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support senior staff on client assignments and related tasks.
Required profile
- Commerce graduate with 3‑4 years of relevant experience, or a semi‑qualified CA/CMA.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and direct & indirect taxes.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and meet tight deadlines.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Tally.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Experience with accounting software.
