Packaging Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Packaging Design Engineer to lead order‑related design activities for our pump product range. You will translate customer specifications into detailed engineering deliverables and ensure seamless execution throughout the order cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer project specifications and collaborate with Sales/Tendering to convert requirements into engineering solutions.
• Create and manage technical documents such as pump cross‑section drawings, general arrangement drawings, P&ID diagrams, and wiring schematics.
• Validate and approve buy‑out component drawings for motors, couplings, mechanical seals, ARC valves, gearboxes, VFDs, turbines, and related systems.
• Prepare, verify, and release the Bill of Materials (BOM) in SAP.
• Coordinate with Operations, Purchasing, Quality, and Testing teams to ensure successful order execution.

Required profile

• 2‑8 years of experience in centrifugal pump design and familiarity with API standards.
• Hands‑on proficiency with AutoCAD; experience with NX and Teamcenter is a plus.
• Knowledge of API 610, ISO pump standards, material selection, and metallurgy.
• Strong ability to read P&IDs and technical specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
