Package Manager – Landside, Utility & Airport Support Facilities

About the role

The Package Manager will report to the Project Director and act as the PMC lead for the landside, utility and airport support facilities package across Trivandrum, Mangalore and Ahmedabad. The role covers planning, design coordination, construction supervision, interface management, testing, commissioning and handover of roads, parking, drainage, water, power, utility corridors and operational buildings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the package from construction through testing, commissioning and handover, monitoring contractor performance against schedule, quality, safety and cost.
• Manage interfaces between roads, parking, drainage, utilities and airside infrastructure, coordinating with utility agencies, statutory authorities and airport operators.
• Review and coordinate design deliverables, shop drawings and method statements, ensuring compliance with codes, standards and employer requirements.
• Monitor package schedules, progress forecasts and KPIs; evaluate variations, claims and change requests.
• Lead testing, commissioning, snag rectification and preparation of as‑built drawings, O&M manuals and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management; Master’s preferred.
• 15–20 years of experience delivering major infrastructure or airport projects, with at least 10 years in senior site‑based leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary packages involving roads, drainage, utilities, buildings and MEP systems.
• Experience in PMC, EPC, Design‑Build or client‑side environments and stakeholder management for large infrastructure projects.
