Outbound Telemarketer

About the role

The Outbound Telemarketer will work full‑time on‑site in Kolkata, contacting existing and prospective customers to promote Siti Cable Network’s cable and broadband services. The role focuses on generating sign‑ups, upgrades, and scheduled appointments while delivering a courteous, service‑oriented experience.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to customers and prospects, presenting service offers clearly.
• Encourage sign‑ups, upgrades, and schedule service appointments.
• Maintain accurate call logs and update CRM or call‑management systems.
• Follow up on leads to support sales targets.
• Answer customer queries, provide product information, and handle objections professionally.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff as needed.
• Adhere to approved call scripts and compliance guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer‑service orientation with ability to manage appointments and follow‑ups.
• Basic sales aptitude, including lead conversion and negotiation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional sales or customer‑service training is a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kolkata and follow shift schedules.
• Prior experience in telemarketing or call‑center environments preferred but not mandatory.
• Team player who can handle repetitive tasks and remain professional under pressure.
