About the role
Join a global investment bank project to develop cloud‑based compliance archive products. The role combines Oracle development, testing and cloud engineering to support fixed income and currencies (FIC) migrations on Google Cloud Platform.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in the full application lifecycle for Java, Microservices and reusable components.
- Design, code, review and deploy applications on GCP using Terraform, GCE, GKE and CloudSQL/Postgres.
- Apply design patterns, TDD and BDD to ensure reliable production software.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, perform code reviews and make architectural decisions in an Agile environment.
Required profile
- Senior‑level experience in IT delivery and software engineering.
- Strong relational modelling, physical database design and tuning skills.
- Experience delivering high‑volume reporting applications and knowledge of Kimball data‑modeling.
- Good written and spoken English for knowledge transfer.
Required skills
- Java, Microservices, Oracle database.
- Google Cloud Platform services (GCE, GKE, CloudSQL/Postgres).
- Terraform module coding.
- JIRA, Git (Git Flow).
- Test‑driven development, automated testing tools (Rational Robot, Silktest, WinRunner, HP UFT, QuickTest Pro, RIATest, Green Hat).
