About the role
The Operations Staff member ensures timely and accurate handling of shipments throughout the delivery and pickup processes. This role focuses on loading, delivering, and collecting parcels while maintaining proper documentation and customer‑focused service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Load shipments onto delivery routes and verify tallies against invoices.
- Deliver parcels to customers, complete POD/FOD/DOD/COD procedures, and record appropriate status codes for undelivered items.
- Meet estimated delivery dates (EDD) and service quality (SQ) targets.
- Hand over COD/DOD/FOD cash on the same day and transfer undelivered shipments to the supervisor.
- Perform appointment deliveries following company dress code and customer‑centric approach.
- Execute pickups according to SOP, meet cut‑off times, and complete airway bill documentation.
- Tally shipments at the pickup location, collect required regulatory paperwork, and inspect package condition.
- Prepare and manage pickup sheets and delivery run sheets.
Required profile
- Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Strong organizational skills for accurate tallying and documentation.
- Customer‑service orientation with professional appearance.
- Reliability in meeting delivery schedules and handling cash transactions.
