Operations Executive – Inbound Shift Lead

About the role

The Inbound Shift In‑charge leads all inbound operations at the service centre, ensuring shipments are received, unloaded, scanned, sorted and processed on time while meeting Blue Dart’s service commitments and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead inbound shift operations, ensuring timely receipt, unloading, scanning and sorting of shipments.
• Monitor shipment processing, reconcile discrepancies and drive adherence to service level agreements.
• Plan and allocate manpower across workstations to maximise productivity and meet operational targets.
• Conduct daily briefings, coach staff and enforce safety, SOP and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with outbound teams, customer service, fleet and network operations to ensure seamless shipment flow.
• Track shift performance metrics, prepare reports and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Graduate or 10+2 with a 3‑year diploma.
• 2–4 years experience in courier, express logistics, warehousing or supply‑chain operations, with frontline team leadership.
• Familiarity with inbound operations, shipment scanning, sorting and reconciliation.
