Operations & Community Manager – Gujarati Language

About the role

Pratilipi is seeking an Operations and Community Manager to grow and strengthen its Gujarati author ecosystem. You will act as the primary liaison between the platform and Gujarati writers, helping them increase visibility, engagement, and monetisation.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with top‑earning, high‑potential, and emerging Gujarati authors through phone, email, WhatsApp, Zoom and in‑person meetings.
• Design personalised growth plans and success roadmaps for authors, guiding them to improve platform presence and explore revenue opportunities.
• Maintain structured communication funnels to manage a large, active author community with consistency and care.
• Identify and resolve author concerns related to inactivity, disputes, visibility, trust, security and overall platform experience.
• Collect feedback and insights from authors, share recommendations with internal teams, and prepare regular community reports.
• Provide prompt, empathetic support to Gujarati users and authors, escalating technical or product issues through appropriate channels.

Required profile

• Deep passion for Gujarati literature, writing, reading and culture.
• Excellent listening skills and ability to build lasting relationships through repeated conversations.
• Clear, thoughtful communication in both Gujarati and English.
• Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple conversations, follow‑ups and priorities without compromising quality.
