About the role
The Operations Associate will join the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) team in India, supporting the country’s implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The role focuses on collaborating with diverse stakeholders to design and deliver country‑specific solutions that advance inclusive and climate‑smart development.
Key responsibilities
- Work with national and sub‑national government agencies, development partners and civil society to implement UNDP programmes in India.
- Support the design and delivery of solutions that contribute to evidence‑led institutions, economic opportunities, social protection and climate‑smart initiatives.
- Assist in integrating South‑South cooperation, gender equality and social inclusion across UNDP’s strategic portfolios.
- Contribute to monitoring and reporting on progress towards the SDGs at the country level.
