On‑Site Retail Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Indore and focuses on delivering accurate dispensing and professional counseling in a busy community pharmacy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and over‑the‑counter medications accurately while verifying prescriptions for completeness and legality.
• Counsel customers on proper medication use, dosage, side effects, storage, and basic health and wellness products.
• Maintain prescription records, manage inventory, monitor stock levels and expiry dates, and coordinate timely replenishment with suppliers.
• Support home‑delivery orders, handle billing and POS transactions, and ensure a clean, organized pharmacy setting.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to provide efficient, patient‑centered service during extended retail hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required profile

• Recognized degree or diploma in Pharmacy with a valid pharmacist registration/license as per local regulations.
• Strong knowledge of prescription drugs, generics, pediatric medicines, and OTC products, including indications and contraindications.
• Ability to work on‑site in a high‑traffic retail environment and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a community or retail pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Commitment to ongoing learning about new medicines, guidelines, and best practices.
