On-site Electrician – Chengalpattu, Chennai

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time, on‑site Electrician to join our team in Chengalpattu, Chennai. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, wire, and commission electrical circuits, panels and distribution boards.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on all electrical infrastructure.
• Diagnose electrical faults, troubleshoot issues and respond promptly to breakdowns or service requests.
• Document all work performed and coordinate with supervisors and other team members.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following safety procedures and local electrical codes.

Required profile

• Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and practical electrical work.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of electrical systems in industrial, commercial or residential settings (advantageous).
• Relevant technical qualification or certification (ITI, diploma or equivalent).
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on‑site.

• Electrical wiring and panel work.

• Preventive maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and manuals.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and safety standards.
