Odoo Integration Developer

About the role

HENRY Technologies is seeking an experienced Odoo Integration Developer to design and build custom Odoo applications, modules, APIs, and integrations with external systems. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on expertise with the Odoo framework and a proven track record of connecting Odoo to SaaS platforms, databases, and other services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop custom Odoo applications and modules.
• Build and maintain APIs and integration services linking Odoo with web apps, SaaS platforms, CRM/ERP systems, databases, and cloud services.
• Work with Odoo ORM, models, controllers, views, XML, and module architecture.
• Create REST endpoints and leverage Odoo RPC/API mechanisms.
• Implement authentication, data mapping, synchronization, validation, and error handling.
• Develop scheduled or event‑driven data synchronization workflows and middleware where needed.
• Troubleshoot Odoo applications, modules, and integration issues.
• Optimize integrations for reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with product, backend, and infrastructure teams and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• Professional experience developing applications within Odoo.
• Strong knowledge of the Odoo development framework beyond basic Python.
• Proven ability to build custom APIs or integrations between Odoo and external applications.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Odoo business objects (contacts, products, inventory, sales, purchase, accounting, CRM).
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, authentication, webhooks, and data synchronization.
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
