Odoo Developer – CRM & Edtech Implementation

About the role

We are seeking an Odoo Developer with a strong focus on CRM to implement and customize Odoo for an Edtech client. The role involves translating education‑sector processes into scalable Odoo solutions that support student acquisition, lead management, counselor workflows, and overall business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse Edtech‑specific requirements such as lead capture, admissions funnel, fee management and student lifecycle.
• Configure and extend Odoo CRM together with related modules (Sales, Invoicing, Email Marketing, HR).
• Develop custom modules, views, automated actions and reports tailored to the client’s workflows.
• Build REST API integrations with third‑party tools like website lead forms, WhatsApp/SMS gateways or LMS platforms.
• Provide end‑user training, documentation and post‑go‑live support for counselors and operations staff.
• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of hands‑on Odoo development and implementation experience, preferably with CRM projects.
• Strong Python programming skills and familiarity with Odoo ORM, XML views and QWeb templates.
• Good understanding of CRM concepts such as pipelines, lead scoring and activity scheduling.
• Experience integrating external systems via REST APIs.
• Ability to communicate clearly with non‑technical client teams.
