Ocean Customer Experience Specialist

About the role

Join Maersk’s Customer Experience (CX) team as an Ocean Customer Experience Specialist. You will provide high‑quality inbound support to U.S.‑based customers, helping them navigate bookings, shipments, documentation, and service inquiries after onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound customer calls promptly and professionally, delivering accurate assistance.
• Address questions on bookings, shipments, documentation, charges, and general service topics.
• Manage customer cases in the system, from creation through resolution.
• Guide new customers through onboarding processes, tools, and service channels.
• Maintain strong relationships through clear communication and consistent service.
• Handle basic contract queries, charge clarifications, and dispute management following established procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams for issue resolution and escalation.
• Uphold service standards, including call quality, timeliness, and satisfaction metrics.

Required profile

• Prior experience in U.S. customer service or inbound contact‑center operations (preferred).
• Excellent verbal communication with the ability to articulate solutions clearly.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Customer‑first mindset with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and empathy.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM systems or ticketing tools.
