Occupational Health & Safety Inspector

About the role

We are looking for an Occupational Health & Safety Inspector to join our construction projects in Assam. The role involves ensuring a safe working environment on site, monitoring compliance with regulations, and promoting safety awareness among all personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor health and safety practices at construction sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, rules, and regulations.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify hazards.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment such as helmets, safety shoes, and jackets.
• Promote safe working practices and raise awareness among workers.
• Report accidents or incidents and maintain accurate safety records.
• Ensure availability of first‑aid, emergency response, and fire‑safety systems.
• Coordinate safety matters with contractors and project teams.
• Prepare safety reports and maintain related documentation.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Safety (Industrial Safety preferred).
• 3–8 years of experience, preferably on road, highway, or infrastructure projects.
• Basic knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
