Observability Expert – Dynatrace Platform

About the role

We are looking for an Observability Expert to join Nestlé Nespresso’s Digital & Tech team. You will drive the implementation, configuration, operation and continuous improvement of enterprise‑wide observability across critical digital services, applications, infrastructure and customer journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, run and continuously improve the monitoring infrastructure.
• Set up new monitoring capabilities – dashboards, alerts, metrics – for existing and new applications and infrastructure.
• Ensure stability of mission‑critical systems by configuring alerts, notifications and auto‑remediation.
• Implement event‑driven automation based on monitoring events.
• Collaborate with an international, self‑responsible agile team using the latest toolsets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum five years of experience in observability, application performance monitoring or production operations.
• Strong hands‑on experience implementing, configuring and operating Dynatrace in complex enterprise environments.

Required skills

• Dynatrace OneAgent and ActiveGate deployment and troubleshooting.
• Dynatrace Query Language (DQL) and Grail.
• Davis AI, anomaly detection and root‑cause analysis.
• Smartscape service‑dependency mapping.
• Real User Monitoring and Synthetic Monitoring.
• OpenTelemetry integration with Dynatrace.
• Linux, containers, Kubernetes and at least one major cloud platform (e.g., Azure).
• Automation with Ansible and scripting in Bash/Python.
