Nursing Officer

About the role

The Nursing Officer will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring high standards of clinical practice, patient safety, and compassionate support. This role involves direct patient interaction, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and participation in continuous education.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms accurately.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and respond to changes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies.
• Deliver bedside care and operate medical equipment safely.
• Attend regular in‑service education sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and GNM Nursing/BSc Nursing/M.Sc Nursing.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate care.
• Initiative, moral support, and a patient‑focused approach.
• Basic computer literacy.
