Nursing Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Nursing Assistant to provide high‑quality home care support to patients in their residences. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring patient comfort, and supporting overall well‑being under the guidance of healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Help with mobility, transfers, and basic exercises as advised by healthcare staff.
• Monitor and record vital signs (if trained) and report any changes in patient condition.
• Support medication reminders and maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the patient’s environment.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensure dietary requirements are met.
• Provide companionship and emotional support while following care plans and safety protocols.

Required profile

• Certification in General Duty Assistant (GDA) or Nursing Assistant, or relevant training.
• Previous experience in home care or hospital settings preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with patience and empathy.
• Physically fit to assist with lifting and mobility tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required.
