Nurse – Clinical Research

About the role

Syngene is seeking a dedicated Nurse to support clinical research activities at the Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (TSHTI). The role involves ensuring sample collection, participant monitoring, and safety compliance throughout study phases.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the station for blood and urine collection during screening and study phases.
• Collect biological samples, label vacutainers, RIA vials and cryo vials.
• Coordinate X‑ray procedures and maintain related records.
• Perform ECGs and monitor ICU temperature and vital parameters.
• Maintain ICU and ambulance emergency medicines, equipment, and bio‑waste disposal.
• Procure sample collection kits, laboratory inventory, and emergency medicines.
• Manage cannulation and removal of cannula for protocol‑required blood sampling.
• Administer investigational products and observe participants for adverse events.
• Report adverse events promptly to the duty doctor/investigator and assist in their management.
• Maintain the nurse calling system and related documentation.

Required profile

• Commitment to follow safety guidelines, SOPs and mandatory training.
• Ability to work accurately in a regulated clinical research environment.
• Strong attention to detail for sample handling and documentation.
