Nurse – Clinical Research (ICMR Study)

About the role

The Society for Applied Studies (SAS) is seeking two qualified nurses to join a clinical research team conducting an ICMR‑funded study at Lady Hardinge Medical College. The role involves providing nursing care to study participants, collecting data, and supporting field activities aimed at preventing preterm birth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and follow‑up for study participants in antenatal, obstetric, and neonatal settings.
• Collect and enter study data, complete forms, and maintain accurate records and registers.
• Manage logistics, inventory, and medication supplies in accordance with study protocols.
• Conduct field visits to monitor pregnant women and complete assigned tasks.
• Summarise field activities, report observations, and escalate issues promptly.
• Perform any additional study‑related duties delegated by the supervisor or coordinator.

Required profile

• General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in antenatal care.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Proficiency in basic computer and smartphone applications.
