Nurse – Clinical Coordination & Supervision

About the role

This position is responsible for overseeing patient care within a hospital ward, coordinating daily nursing activities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The role blends direct clinical work with leadership duties, supporting both patients and the nursing team.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily administrative duties, including staff schedules, nursing assignments, and patient care.
• Record patients’ medical records, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate nursing documentation.
• Supervise nursing staff, oversee their performance, and delegate duties across shifts.
• Manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges while ensuring appropriate nurse‑to‑patient ratios.
• Mentor and train newly recruited staff, providing continuous guidance and support.
• Liaise with doctors, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to communicate protocol changes.
• Ensure compliance with hospital health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor medical charts, respond promptly to changes in patient conditions, and inform physicians of any updates.
• Supervise Nursing Aides, oversee staff grooming, punctuality, discipline, and professional conduct.
• Promote patient independence through education on diseases, medications, and self‑care practices.

Required profile

• Qualified nursing professional (e.g., Registered Nurse).
• Experience supervising nursing staff and coordinating ward activities.
• Strong understanding of hospital policies, safety regulations, and patient‑centered care.
