About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to join its clinical team. The role involves providing direct patient care, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring accurate documentation of health information in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record patients' medical history and symptoms accurately.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and basic nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and report changes promptly.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and post‑discharge care.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure bedside care standards.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment safely.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a qualification in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good coordination skills.
• Initiative, moral support, and a compassionate approach to patients.
• Basic computer literacy.
