About the role
Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to support patient care across its facilities. The role involves assisting with clinical tasks, maintaining records, and providing education to patients and families.
Key responsibilities
- Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
- Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
- Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
- Monitor patient health status and report changes.
- Provide bedside care and support to patients and their families.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies.
- Operate and care for medical equipment.
- Participate in regular in‑service education sessions.
Required profile
- Graduate with GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing, or MSc Nursing qualification.
- First division marks in 10th, 12th, and nursing qualification.
- 3 months to 5 years of experience in nursing or patient care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Team‑oriented mindset with initiative and moral support for patients.
