About the role

The Nurse Assistant will support patient care within Apollo Hospitals by assessing health problems, delivering bedside care, and maintaining accurate medical records. This role requires a qualified nursing graduate who can work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to promote patient well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and deliver patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients’ health status and report changes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies.
• Deliver bedside care and operate medical equipment.
• Attend regular in‑service education sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing with first‑division marks in 10th and 12th.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Ability to assess patient health problems and implement care plans.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
