About the role

We are seeking an experienced North Indian Cuisine Chef to join a prestigious private residence in Mumbai. The role involves delivering authentic, high-quality North Indian dishes for the family’s daily meals, private dinners and special occasions, while upholding the standards of a 5-star hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare authentic North Indian specialties such as Punjabi, Mughlai, Awadhi, Rajasthani dishes, including kebabs, curries, biryanis, breads and dals.
• Design daily menus tailored to the family’s preferences, dietary requirements and special events.
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, portion control and food safety.
• Source fresh ingredients, manage kitchen inventory and minimise waste.
• Ensure strict hygiene, cleanliness and compliance with food-safety standards.
• Provide discreet, professional service while maintaining confidentiality.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of culinary experience, preferably in 5-star hotels or luxury properties.
• Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts from a recognized institute.
• Proven expertise in North Indian cuisine and traditional cooking techniques.
• Experience with reputed hotel groups such as The Oberoi, Taj, ITC, Marriott, Hyatt is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, well-groomed appearance and ability to work independently.
