Non‑Revenue Water & Operation Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Non‑Revenue Water & Operation Maintenance Engineer to support the rollout of a 24 × 7 water supply system in a phased approach. The role focuses on minimizing water losses, ensuring reliable operation of the distribution network and maintaining key infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Identify leaks in pipelines and related appurtenances to reduce non‑revenue water.
• Perform operation and maintenance activities across the existing water network.
• Apply sonography and visual inspection techniques to locate leaks and faulty sections.
• Prepare water‑balance reports and calculate unaccounted for water and non‑revenue water.
• Measure and report flow, pressure and head at intake, treatment plant and critical network points.
• Maintain pumps, motors and other equipment at intake, treatment plant, pump houses and storage reservoirs.
• Coordinate with the Customer Relationship Cell to resolve complaints related to supply disruptions, water quality issues and leaks.
