Non-Pressure Parts Manager – 3D Modelling & Duct Design

About the role

We are looking for a Manager responsible for non‑pressure parts, focusing on the 3D modelling and design of air and flue‑gas ducting for sub‑critical and super‑critical boiler projects. The role involves close collaboration with the design team and outsourcing partners to deliver accurate shop drawings and technical specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 3D models of air and flue‑gas ducting using CREO or equivalent software.
• Coordinate design inputs, sketches and details with the design team for model and shop‑drawing preparation.
• Perform analysis and design of ducting systems using STAAD Pro or similar tools.
• Prepare technical specifications and manage pre‑order and post‑order coordination for dampers, expansion joints, slide supports and hangers.
• Review and verify fabrication and erection drawings without guidance.
• Lead the preparation of detailed/shop drawings with outsourcing teams and control the schedule for their release.
• Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of all deliverables while maintaining effective communication within a collaborative environment.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of shop‑drawing interpretation and ability to check fabrication/erection drawings independently.
• Proven experience in preparing technical specifications for duct design.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
