Network Security Engineer – OT Systems

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to protect and optimise Operational Technology (OT) environments across its manufacturing sites. You will work closely with engineering, technology and operations teams to align OT network security with corporate standards and ensure resilient, secure automation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse existing OT architecture, strategy and processes together with manufacturing sites and engineering teams.
• Design, define and implement new OT firewall VLAN structures that follow internal segmentation principles.
• Develop and roll out reference architectures for standard services and applications within the OT environment.
• Define, review and approve OT firewall rules to enable safe integration with IT and MES systems while maximising protection of automation assets.
• Coordinate urgent changes with sites to minimise cyber‑security risk.
• Support sites in incident recovery, investigations and post‑incident analysis.
• Ensure automation and laboratory systems are protected using defence‑in‑depth controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT/OT network or cybersecurity professional.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Effective communication skills to interact with operational teams, capital‑project groups and senior management.
