Network Monitoring & Support Associate

About the role

Lenovo is seeking a Network Monitoring & Support Associate to ensure the health and performance of its global network infrastructure. The role involves continuous monitoring, incident handling, and proactive maintenance of WAN, LAN, Wi‑Fi, MPLS, VPN, SD‑WAN and internet links.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor WAN, LAN, Wi‑Fi, MPLS, VPN, SD‑WAN and internet links using monitoring tools.
• Track device health for routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers and access points.
• Measure bandwidth utilization, latency, packet loss and link availability; generate proactive alerts.
• Provide 24x7 monitoring of critical infrastructure and business applications.
• Acknowledge, diagnose and troubleshoot network incidents within SLA timelines.
• Coordinate with L2/L3 teams, OEMs and ISPs for issue resolution and escalation.
• Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, wireless devices, VPN connectivity and remote access.
• Perform port configuration, VLAN changes, IP address management and firewall rule implementation.
• Support DNS, DHCP and network authentication services.
• Analyze recurring issues, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement preventive maintenance.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly network health and outage reports; maintain network diagrams, SOPs and inventory.

Required profile

• Ability to work within defined SLA timelines.
• Experience coordinating with L2/L3 support teams, OEMs and ISPs.
• Strong analytical mindset for root‑cause analysis and performance optimization.
