Network and Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Network and Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement and support secure OT networking solutions for our customers. You will work closely with project teams and clients to translate technical specifications into reliable, compliant control‑system networks.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, cost‑efficient engineering solutions for network and cybersecurity requirements.
• Assess customer specifications, align with internal cybersecurity and project teams, and define implementation approaches.
• Design, test, and deploy network and cyber‑security controls for control‑system environments.
• Participate in factory and site acceptance tests, providing hands‑on support for GPS clocks, routers, firewalls, switches, servers and SCADA communication systems.
• Develop and enforce system‑hardening policies in line with IEC 62443, NERC CIP, NIST and other standards.
• Prepare and deliver accurate project documentation and support commissioning activities, including evidence collection.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with external regulations and internal guidelines while upholding safety and integrity values.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, OT systems or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in OT networking and cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTPS, RADIUS, LDAP) and architecture.
• Proficiency with hardware from Cisco, Hirschmann, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Meinberg, SEL.
• Good experience with Windows operating systems and common security tools (IDS, IPS, NESSUS, CIS‑CAT, Nmap, McAfee ePO, Syslog manager).
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA are a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and within a fast‑paced team.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
