NDT Engineer – Non‑Destructive Testing Specialist

About the role
The NDT Engineer will be responsible for performing non‑destructive and semi‑destructive testing on a variety of construction projects, ensuring the quality and safety of structural works in line with established procedures and standards.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct NDT and SDT tests on construction projects as per documented procedures.
- Perform load testing on structural members and slabs, and carry out distress mapping in buildings.
- Maintain standard reference materials, calibration records and prepare measurement‑of‑uncertainty documentation.
- Ensure implementation of QMS, NABL documentation requirements and adherence to corporate HSE policies.
Required profile
- BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 4‑5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical ability with good verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with construction chemicals, strengthening materials and restoration of structures is desirable.
Required skills
- NDT testing (visual inspection, penetrant, ultrasonic, radiography, etc.).
- Semi‑Destructive Testing (SDT) and load testing of structural elements.
- Report drafting and publishing.
- Calibration of testing equipment and preparation of uncertainty measurement documents.
