About the role
Lead the collections target and control collection flow for the specified area. Manage a large team of collection officers, overseeing their productivity and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve collection targets for the assigned area and manage case flow, focusing on non‑starters.
- Provide documented feedback on collection activities.
- Ensure adequate field presence across buckets and segments.
- Set and monitor productivity parameters for collection officers, both agency and in‑house.
- Conduct weekly performance reviews with collection executives.
- Perform background checks on collection agencies and identify training needs for collection executives.
- Support collection officers with legal, police, and other collection‑related issues.
Required profile
- Strong people‑management capabilities.
- Over 12 years of experience in collections.
- Proven track record of achieving targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to build relationships and lead high‑performance teams.
- Good computer literacy.
- Graduation or post‑graduation qualification preferred.
