MYP & DP Computer Science Teacher

About the role

Are you passionate about Computer Science, coding, technology, and inquiry‑based learning? We are looking for a dynamic and innovative MYP & DP Computer Science Teacher who can inspire students through practical coding, computational thinking, problem‑solving, and real‑world applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons aligned with the IB MYP and DP curricula.
• Teach programming, algorithms, computational thinking and guide hands‑on coding labs, projects and real‑world problem‑solving tasks.
• Prepare and support DP students for Internal Assessments and external examinations.
• Integrate inquiry‑based learning, ATL skills and IB Learner Profile attributes into classroom practice.
• Use digital tools, simulations and educational technologies to enhance learning and assess student progress using IB criteria.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Physics or related field; teaching qualification (B.Ed., PGDIE, CIDTL) preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in IB MYP/DP or comparable international curricula.
• Strong knowledge of Computer Science concepts and programming languages.
• Ability to teach through practical, conceptual, inquiry‑based and project‑based approaches.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and classroom management skills.
