Money Officer

About the role

Handle front‑desk banking operations, ensuring timely service delivery and efficient resolution of customer queries. Support branch sales by promoting products, identifying customer needs and cross‑selling banking services.

Key responsibilities

• Accept and process retail and commercial deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and CASA account transactions.
• Maintain and reconcile cash drawer in line with bank policies, including cash handling accuracy and periodic check batching.
• Buy and sell currency from the vault to maintain adequate cash levels and manage excess or mutilated currency.
• Perform teller functions related to safety‑deposit locker access and support dual‑control procedures during cash transactions.
• Ensure all financial transactions comply with operational and regulatory guidelines while providing excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Ownership and accountability for results with a customer‑centric mindset.
• Physical fitness, mental agility and ability to handle extensive field work and work pressure.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, digital applications and local market geography.
• Professional communication skills in regional language and English.
