Model-Based Design Engineer (MBD) – Embedded Control

About the role

We are looking for a Model-Based Design (MBD) Engineer to join Bosch Global Software Technologies in Bangalore. You will translate high‑level requirements into robust Simulink models and lead model‑based testing activities for our embedded control solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design structured Simulink models following MAAB guidelines.
• Develop complex control logic using Stateflow and Simulink.
• Create MATLAB M‑scripts and tools for automation, data analysis, and reporting.
• Lead Model‑Based Testing, generate test sequences and achieve 100% MC/DC coverage.
• Represent the team in international forums, presenting architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and testing teams to ensure seamless model integration.

Required profile

• BE/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electronics (1‑5 years of experience).
• Strong technical articulation and ability to work with global teams.
• Proactive team player who participates in peer reviews and mentors junior developers.

Required skills

• Expert‑level proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
• Experience with Simulink Test Manager and Simulink Coverage.
• Knowledge of M‑scripting and Object‑Oriented Programming in MATLAB.
• Familiarity with Embedded C, Python, and micro‑controller hardware architectures.
