Mobile Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mobile Software Engineer to lead the development of a patient‑facing mobile experience for pregnant and postpartum mothers. The role focuses on building a high‑quality React Native app that integrates remote physiologic monitoring and clinical screening tools across iOS and Android.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy features using React Native with TypeScript.
• Implement Bluetooth device pairing and data ingestion for blood pressure cuffs, scales, and Tenovi fetal heart‑rate monitors.
• Integrate real‑time chat, personalized educational content, and a marketplace for ancillary services.
• Develop and maintain standardized clinical screening flows, including the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS).
• Collaborate with product, clinical, and design teams to ensure a seamless user experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional mobile development experience.
• Portfolio of shipped apps that interact with external hardware or IoT devices.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Advanced TypeScript and JavaScript.
• React Native (including native bridge development).
• CoreBluetooth (iOS) and Android Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) APIs.
• Experience with Bluetooth device integration and remote physiologic monitoring toolkits (e.g., Tenovi).
