Mobile Application Developer – React Native (5+ yrs)

About the role

We are looking for a modern mobile engineer who can work confidently across React Native, Expo, TypeScript, enterprise CI/CD, mobile distribution, and production support. The ideal candidate uses AI tools intelligently to accelerate delivery while maintaining strong fundamentals, ownership, security awareness, and accountability for the software they ship.

Key responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain mobile application features for iOS and Android using React Native, Expo, TypeScript, JavaScript, and core React concepts.
• Translate business requirements, wireframes, Figma designs, and design‑system guidance into polished, accessible, and maintainable mobile user interfaces.
• Work within mobile monorepos, shared packages, dependency‑management models, and workspace tooling.
• Support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (YAML), secure files/secrets, automated builds, testing, code‑signing, and release approvals.
• Integrate mobile apps with RESTful APIs, authentication flows, secure storage, and enterprise backend services.
• Contribute to automated testing, TDD/BDD practices, mobile quality gates, code reviews, and defect prevention.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and progress tracking in Azure DevOps.

Required skills

• React Native, Expo, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern React fundamentals.
• Experience building and maintaining iOS and Android apps in enterprise environments.
• Understanding of monorepos, shared packages, dependency management, and mobile workspace tooling.
• Azure DevOps CI/CD expertise, including YAML pipelines, secure files/secrets, automated builds, testing, signing, and release approvals.
• Knowledge of App Store Connect, TestFlight, Google Play Console, and internal distribution channels.
• Integration with RESTful APIs, authentication flows, secure storage, and enterprise backend services.
• Mobile security, performance, accessibility, observability, and production support.
• Automated testing, TDD/BDD, mobile quality gates, Git, code review, and Agile/Scrum delivery discipline.
