About the role
The school seeks a motivated Middle English Teacher to deliver engaging, skill‑based instruction aligned with the Cambridge Lower Secondary curriculum. You will develop students' reading, writing, speaking and listening abilities while encouraging critical thinking and creativity.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons for Cambridge Lower Secondary (Stage 6–9) that meet curriculum objectives.
- Develop students' reading comprehension, creative and academic writing, grammar, vocabulary and oral communication.
- Conduct formative and summative assessments, provide constructive feedback and maintain progress records.
- Offer remedial and enrichment support as needed and ensure timely completion of the syllabus.
Required profile
- Experience teaching Cambridge Lower Secondary English or a comparable curriculum.
- Ability to foster literary appreciation, independent thinking and effective communication skills in students.
