Mid-Level Civil/Structural Engineer (Industrial Projects)

About the role

Assystem is seeking a mid‑level Civil/Structural Engineer to join its Navi Mumbai office. The role focuses on the design and analysis of structural steel and reinforced concrete systems for industrial and power‑related facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and analyse structural steel and reinforced concrete elements for industrial buildings, including water‑retaining structures.
• Review and lead engineering deliverables across multiple EPC projects, ensuring compliance with international codes.
• Develop specialized designs for cooling towers and chimneys where required.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural solutions into overall project plans.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in civil/structural engineering.
• BE or ME degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven leadership experience as a reviewer or lead engineer on multi‑disciplinary projects.
• Strong communication skills for reporting and collaboration.

Required skills

• Proficiency with STAAD, SAFE, ETABS and SAP2000 for structural analysis.
• Hands‑on experience in structural steel and reinforced concrete design.
• Knowledge of IS, American, British and European design codes.
• Familiarity with materials properties and their application in design.
