MES Consultant – Life Sciences

About the role

We are seeking a skilled MES Consultant to join our fast‑growing SaaS company, Leucine, and help pharmaceutical and life‑science manufacturers digitise their production processes. You will lead the implementation, configuration and optimisation of our AI‑powered MES platform, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support MES implementation projects across the full lifecycle, from requirement gathering to post‑deployment support.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, IT and engineering teams to align solutions with business needs.
• Analyse existing business processes and translate them into functional and technical MES requirements.
• Configure and customise the MES platform to meet client‑specific workflows.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as GxP and FDA regulations.
• Integrate the MES solution with ERP, LIMS and other enterprise systems.
• Deliver user training, create documentation and provide ongoing support after go‑live.
• Troubleshoot system issues to minimise downtime and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 3‑10 years of experience in MES implementation or consulting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably in pharma, biotech or life sciences.
• Experience with MES platforms and system integration (ERP/MES interfaces, APIs).
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GxP and 21 CFR Part 11.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
