Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney to join our remote team on a contract basis. You will work directly with product and research groups to improve AI‑driven contract review tools, ensuring high‑quality legal output for complex M&A transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises to train AI models.
• Review AI‑generated responses to contract scenarios and provide expert feedback.
• Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for AI performance on contract tasks.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI‑enabled contract review.

Required profile

• J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum experience working in the M&A department of a corporate law firm.
• Familiarity with standard M&A agreements, including Asset Purchase Agreements (APAs) and Stock Purchase Agreements (SPAs).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
