Merchant Risk Analyst II – Walk‑in Interview, Bangalore

About the role

Infosys BPM is looking for a motivated Merchant Risk Analyst II to join its team in Bangalore. The role focuses on evaluating merchant applications, monitoring ongoing risk exposure, and protecting the organization from financial losses related to fraud and chargebacks.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct merchant due‑diligence, background checks and risk assessments.
• Review credit reports, financial statements and transaction histories.
• Monitor merchant transactions for fraud, chargebacks and unusual activity.
• Recommend merchant approvals, limits, reserves or other risk‑mitigation measures.
• Investigate fraud cases, policy breaches and other risk‑related incidents.
• Collaborate with sales, onboarding, banking partners and merchants.
• Ensure compliance with risk, underwriting and regulatory standards.
• Prepare risk reports and escalate high‑risk cases as needed.

Required profile

• Any graduate with 2‑4 years of relevant experience.
• Immediate joiners or availability within 15 days.
• Flexible to work any shift; work‑from‑office is mandatory.
• Experience with Australian card disputes or international risk processes.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and investigative abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
