Merchant Dispute & Chargeback Specialist – Walk‑in Interview, Bangalore

About the role

Infosys BPM is hiring for a Merchant Dispute & Chargeback specialist to handle end‑to‑end dispute processing for Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. The position is based in Bengaluru and requires on‑site presence.

Key responsibilities

• Triaging disputes, validating reason codes and deciding on acceptance, representment, pre‑arbitration or arbitration.
• Preparing and filing compelling evidence within network and processor SLAs.
• Leading pre‑arbitration negotiations and preparing arbitration submissions.
• Collecting and packaging evidence such as transaction logs, AVS/CVV/3DS data, device/IP signals, delivery proof and customer communications.
• Maintaining reason‑code libraries and SOPs aligned with Visa Claims Resolution and Mastercard Dispute Resolution.
• Liaising with merchants, support, risk, finance, acquirers and external partners to resolve disputes promptly.
• Educating merchants on prevention measures and ensuring compliance with network rules.

Required profile

• Any graduate (full‑time) with 1‑4 years of relevant experience.
• Immediate joiners or candidates able to join within 15 days.
• Flexible to work any shift; on‑site work is mandatory.
• Eligibility for Senior Process Executive (1‑2 yrs) or Subject Matter Expert (2‑4 yrs) roles.
