MEP Testing & Commissioning Engineer (Site)

About the role

The MEP Testing & Commissioning Engineer will lead on‑site testing and commissioning activities for all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, firefighting and ELV systems. You will ensure that each system performs according to design specifications, safety standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and execute testing and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting and ELV systems.
• Review design drawings, technical submittals and equipment manuals to define commissioning scope.
• Coordinate with MEP execution teams, OEMs, subcontractors and consultants for progressive testing.
• Validate system performance, safety compliance and client specifications.
• Prepare and deliver training, O&M documentation and handover packages to facility management.
• Support client inspections, approvals and final handover documentation.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma/B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–10 years of experience in testing and commissioning MEP systems on factory or industrial construction projects.
• Proficient in English; local language preferred for site communication.

Required skills

• Testing and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and ELV systems.
• Instrument calibration and troubleshooting.
• AutoCAD, MS Office and MS Project proficiency.
• Commissioning planning, QA/QC processes and safety regulations.
