MEP Engineer – Public Health & Fire Protection (Residential)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced MEP Engineer to lead the execution of public health engineering (PHE) and fire protection systems (FPS) on high‑rise residential projects. The role involves planning, supervising and monitoring plumbing and firefighting installations, ensuring they meet approved drawings, specifications and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation of water supply, drainage, sewage and storm‑water networks, including pipes, fittings, valves, pumps and fixtures.
• Oversee firefighting system works such as fire‑pump installations, hydrants, sprinkler networks and fire risers.
• Coordinate with civil, structural and finishing teams to integrate MEP services and resolve on‑site routing issues.
• Manage subcontractors and labour crews, monitor progress and enforce quality standards.
• Conduct inspections, pressure testing and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning and obtain approvals from consultants and authorities.
• Track material usage, liaise with procurement for timely supply of MEP components and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in PHE and fire‑protection systems for high‑rise residential or commercial projects.
• Proven ability to supervise on‑site installations and manage subcontractors.
