Medical Superintendent

About the role

MNR Medical Hospital, located in Sangareddy, Telangana, is seeking an experienced Medical Superintendent to lead hospital operations and academic coordination. The role reports to the Dean/Chairman/Hospital Director and includes full‑time residential responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all medical and administrative operations, ensuring smooth functioning of clinical departments and coordination with the medical college.
• Monitor patient care standards, emergency services, OPD/IPD efficiency, and supervise infection control and medical audits.
• Ensure compliance with NMC, NABH, biomedical waste, fire safety regulations and lead quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate academic activities, including student postings, assessments, and PG/UG training in line with NMC norms.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams of consultants, residents, nurses, and paramedics, promoting discipline, ethics, safety, and compassion.
• Act as the hospital’s representative during inspections and accreditation visits.

Required profile

• MBBS with MD/MS in any clinical discipline (General Medicine/Surgery preferred); postgraduate qualification in Hospital Administration is desirable.
• Minimum 10 years of total clinical/hospital experience, including at least 5 years as Medical Superintendent in a recognized teaching hospital.
• Preference for ex‑servicemen (Army Medical Corps or similar) fluent in English and Telugu.
• Willingness to reside on campus; residential accommodation will be provided.
