Medical Oncologist

About the role

We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Medical Oncologist to join our client's oncology centre in Hauz Khas, Delhi. The role involves providing comprehensive medical oncology care, developing individualised treatment plans, and working closely with patients and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients with various types of cancers.
• Develop and implement individualised chemotherapy and systemic treatment plans.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and manage treatment-related side effects.
• Provide counselling to patients and their families regarding treatment options and prognosis.
• Collaborate with surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and treatment records.
• Stay updated with current oncology treatment protocols, guidelines, and advancements.
• Ensure high standards of patient safety, clinical care, and ethical medical practice.

Required profile

• DNB or DM in Medical Oncology from a recognised institution.
• Valid medical registration and eligibility to practice in India.
• Strong clinical knowledge of oncology diagnosis and treatment.
• Good communication and patient-management skills.
• Experience in medical oncology preferred; freshers with required qualification may also be considered.
