Medical Advisor

About the role

Alkem Laboratories Limited is seeking a Medical Advisor to support its pharmaceutical portfolio. The role involves ensuring scientific and ethical integrity of medical activities, providing high‑quality information to internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to the development of medical‑marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development and promotion of the assigned product portfolio, providing strategic input for marketing and medical development plans.
• Create and review promotional, training, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) materials in compliance with industry codes.
• Engage with Key Opinion Leaders through advisory boards, scientific symposia, institutional presentations, and other educational interactions.
• Plan and support research projects, including protocol development and review.
• Provide accurate, balanced medical information to sales teams and healthcare professionals.
• Deliver medical training to new and existing sales staff, covering basic sciences, therapeutic areas, and product specifics.
• Support new product evaluation, business development, and formulation/line‑extension initiatives through literature review and recommendations.
• Assist regulatory affairs with labeling documentation and support pharmacovigilance by reporting adverse events promptly.

Required profile

• MBBS and MD in Pharmacology (mandatory).
• 1 to 4 years of experience in medical marketing within the pharmaceutical industry.
