Mechanical Maintenance Officer – 5-10 yrs Experience

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Officer with 5‑10 years of experience to lead preventive and breakdown maintenance activities across our plant. The role involves troubleshooting equipment, managing spare‑parts inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and execute preventive maintenance for mechanical and electrical assets.
• Diagnose faults, perform corrective actions and lead root‑cause analysis (RCA) initiatives.
• Manage utility systems including boilers, compressors, diesel generators, HVAC, pumps and wastewater treatment (ETP/STP).
• Coordinate with vendors, oversee AMC contracts and ensure timely procurement of spare parts.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, calibration logs and documentation in SAP/CMMS.
• Implement TPM principles, CAPA actions and energy‑cost control measures.
• Supervise a maintenance team, ensuring safety compliance and permit‑to‑work procedures.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance management.
• Strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance within an industrial setting.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage vendors and handle AMC contracts.
• Good understanding of safety regulations and permit‑to‑work systems.
